Privacy Policy

PharmaTarget (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the PharmaTarget mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password hash, and optional profile picture you provide when registering or signing in with Apple.
  • Usage data: lessons viewed, quizzes attempted, flashcards reviewed, bookmarks, points and badges earned, and similar app activity used to power your personal progress.
  • AI prompts and responses: the inputs you submit to AI features and the generated outputs, used to provide the requested feature and improve quality.
  • Community content: messages, polls, and attachments you choose to post in the in-app community.
  • Device data: device type, OS version, and push notification token (if you grant permission). We do not use IDFA or run third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and personalize the Service.
  • To process AI requests via Google Gemini for summaries, study plans, and quiz generation.
  • To deliver push notifications you have opted in to.
  • To moderate community content and enforce our Terms of Use.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.

3. Third-party services

We share the minimum data needed with the following processors:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and storage hosting.
  • Google Generative AI (Gemini) — AI feature inference.
  • Apple Push Notification service — delivery of push notifications.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app in Settings > Account > Delete Account, or by emailing the address below. Deletion removes your profile, community posts, and personal progress within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in-app or by contacting us.

6. Children

PharmaTarget is intended for users aged 17 and older studying for pharmacy licensure. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Security

We use TLS in transit and rely on Supabase’s encryption at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
